Our Research
Work Package 1
We will co-design a study conducted with stakeholders, including a systematic review of financial incentive implementation issues for health behaviour change. We will also identify barriers and facilitators of health-related financial incentives from international research, and enhance the design of the financial incentive programme model for regional implementation.
Work Package 2
We will carry out a mixed-methods evaluation of financial incentive implementation. This includes conducting a survey and holding qualitative interviews with study stakeholders, and examining data that focuses on financial incentive implementation outcomes and associated costs.
Work Package 3
Our final work package will prioritise the production of an implementation toolkit for financial incentives. Following evaluation of the data gathered, and input from stakeholders and PPI representatives, we will develop a theory-based implementation toolkit for financial incentive efficacy and enhancement, to support the improvement of local stop smoking services.
